Sunny Side Theater was founded in 2002 as a summer camp program that went year-round in 2008.  As Mobile's only true children's theater (grades preK - 12), Sunny Side was founded with the mission of providing an opportunity for EVERYONE to be on stage.  Everyone who auditions gets a part, because everyone has something to offer each production.  Owner/Director Chris Paragone is a nationally-recognized award-winning teacher with over 20 years in theater education.  Co-Director Lauren Westbrook is a nationally recognized performer and has been trained by the best!  Sunny Side's expansive repertoire includes 5 Main Stage shows, summer camps, training classes in acting, dance, and voice, a special needs program, school outreach, traveling productions, and a Travel Competition Team.
