A pioneer in the world of women in business, Kathryn Cariglino started the Women’s Yellow Pages of the Gulf Coast in 1989 and went on to found the Women’s Business Center in 1993. One of the earliest U.S. Small Business Administration’s Women’s Business Centers. Now retired from the WBC, Kathryn continues to provide marketing consulting services through Never Give Up! Enterprises, her business named to reflect her own philosophy of life and business.

In 2016, Kathryn rekindled her artistic interests through Lynn Weeks’ drawing class at Via! Senior Center. Soon after, she joined Via’s ceramics class, focused on hand built pottery. After almost fifty years, she has come full circle to her days in the ceramics studio at the University of South Alabama where she earned her Minor in Art.
